Things just keep getting less and less charming for Bravo’s Southern Charm cast.
Cameran Eubanks may be done with Southern Charm, but she can’t escape the drama just yet. As we previously reported, Cameran will NOT be returning for season 7 of the hit Bravo show.
The Southern Charm alum casually announced her exit from the show on Instagram.
She later addressed her exit in a full statement after rumors began to swirl that she was leaving the show because her husband Jason Wimbley was having a two-year-long affair, which producers were going to expose it during season 7.
Cameran slammed the “insidious rumors” and “fake articles.” She also insisted the claims were 100% false.
Now, we are learning more about the rumors and how Cameran’s Southern Charm co-star Kathryn Dennis may be involved.
Makeup artist Rebecca Wash took to Instagram to deny that she was having an affair with Cam’s husband, Jason. Rebecca denies even knowing Jason or Cam.
“I have been wrongfully accused of having a relationship with the husband of Cameran Wimberly of Southern Charm. I have never met Jason or Cameran Wimberly in my life,” Rebecca explained. “These hurtful accusations are blatant unfounded lies that have shaken me to my core.”
She continued, “I am not a religious follower of Southern Charm, but as a makeup artist and resident of the Charleston area, it is impossible to not know who the cast of the show is. I have never laid eyes or interacted with Jason Wimberly, Cameran, or anyone in their beautiful family other than on television.”
Rebecca went on to reveal that the rumor was allegedly started by Cam’s co-star Kathryn Dennis.
“The allegations that this rumor was started by Kathryn Dennis are even more hurtful,” Rebecca revealed. “I met Kathryn one time in July 2018 when I did her makeup for a photoshoot for a local clothing store. I have not seen or spoken to Kathryn since. I have only known her in my limited interaction in a professional capacity, and to suggest that I am somehow associated with these allegations is dumbfounding, hurtful, and malicious.”
She added, “I am so sorry to the Wimberly family that someone would cut so low as to attack the core tenant of anyone’s life – their family.”
Meanwhile, it seems that Southern Charm may be losing two more of its female stars.
Naomie Olindo implied on Instagram that she and Chelsea Meissner are also leaving the show following Cameran’s exit.
“I’m so damn proud of you and us @chelseameissner58,” Naomie commented on Cameran’s Instagram post about quitting Southern Charm.
Austen Kroll then fueled the speculation, even more, when he talked about a potential spinoff featuring him, Shep Rose, and Craig Conover.
“It just might be to that point,” Austen confessed on Instagram. “Want to watch our late night antics? Or turn off the cameras when the girls go to bed at 9 pm?”
Southern Charm is expected to return to Bravo in late 2020 or early 2021.
