A knight in charming armor?
The Southern Charm alum took to Twitter and defended Kathryn against claims that she’s a racist.
“Say what you will about @KathrynDennis; she is not a racist. Some of her good friends are people of color, and I’ve never, ever heard a racial slur come out of her mouth,” Thomas said in a now-deleted tweet.
Adding, “She doesn’t even think about race or even consider it. This is a very unfortunate mistake.”

Over the weekend, Kathryn sent a racially offensive message to Tamika Gadsden, an African-American radio host. Tamika then published Kathryn’s messages on Twitter and Instagram.
The Southern Charm star faced a ton of backlash for her comments, one of which included a monkey emoji.
Kathryn later issued a public apology, but it seemed to be too little too late.
