While RHOBH seems to be doing just fine without LVP, the season 10 premiere was FABULOUS, IMO. It’s not to say her presence wasn’t missed – at least a little bit.
I mean, no matter how you feel about LVP- love her or hater her – when you think RHOBH you think Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump. Am I right?
That sentiment was also felt by Kyle Richards while filming season 10. In a new interview with E! News, Kyle opens up about what it was like filming without her former BFF for the first time in nearly 10 years.
Kyle admits filming season 10 without LVP was unusual.
“Obviously, before starting, I was thinking, ‘Oh my god, this is so weird.’ But I also felt like that with Adrienne [Maloof] and Taylor [Armstrong], and everybody left,” Kyle confessed. “So, yes, of course, I thought about that before, but then once it starts, there’s so much going on, you don’t really think about it.”
As for the possibility of repairing her friendship with Lisa, Kyle says, “I think that anytime you’ve been friends with somebody you care about them that much, that there’s always going to be something there and that’s my personality at least.”
“I felt like the whole thing was stupid and that we could definitely work through that, but until she’s open to it, then that’s not an option,” Kyle continued.
She adds, “Yes, the door’s always open for someone that I cared about that much.”
Speaking of drama between friends, the season 10 premiere ignited some drama between Kyle and Dorit Kemsley.
During the episode, Kyle asked Dorit for some help styling the models for her first runway show since Dorit is a designer and has put on several runway shows.
However, Dorit was a little bit shady about Kyle’s latest venture into fashion and insinuated that she just slapped her name on someone else’s designs without really know what was going on with the line.
Kyle denied this claim tweeting, “I didn’t just “put my name” on the clothing line, as Dorit suggested. I worked closely with Shahida on the looks WE wanted. For a LIng time. THAT is why I pulled out the pieces that I knew nothing about and were NOT our collaboration.”
The RHOBH OG also insisted that Dorit did NOT “save my fashion show,” as Dorit claimed she did in the episode.
“I love you, @doritkemsley1, but you didn’t save my show. We paid a lot of money for a production team for that #rhobh,” Kyle tweeted.
She continued, “I knew nothing about doing a fashion show. A clothing line, yes. I had a clothing line on HSN & stores for years. I appreciated Dorit’s help w/ ideas for styling the models for the fashion show, but with all due respect, she did NOT save my fashion show. We’d hired a production team.”
“I totally appreciated her help when she went with me to style the models. But the show I have to give credit to the production team. Even if we clashed,” Kyle later added.
Meanwhile, it seems like Dorit wasn’t in the mood to defend her comments or spark any more drama between her and Kyle. Instead, she tweeted, “The show was amazing, the line fabulous and the team top-notch!”
