Kelly Dodd has found herself in some hot water after posting photos of her luxury walk-in closet makeover.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star showed off her newly reorganized walk-in closet full of luxury clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories.
“Thank you @beeorganizedsfbay for helping me get organized in my new closet! If anyone needs anything organized they can do it! Thanks again,” Kelly captioned the photos.
However, fans weren’t impressed with Kelly’s post and many found it to be “insensitive” considering the current state of the economy due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
“You are so ridiculous and frivolous and completely out of touch with what’s going on around you, take a page from Bethenny Frankel’s book why don’t you” one fan commented.
Kelly replied, “Because I’m not her and I have been doing service work and helping the homeless way before her!! I don’t have to announce to the world that’s not what you do when you are a philanthropist!”
“Wow…this NOW?!!! One “fan” gone, disappointed in you Kelly,” another fan wrote.
Another fan commented, “I love you @kellyddodd, but millions of people are out of work right now. It might not be the best time to flaunt your material possessions. Just saying. Xo!”
“I’m trying to get @beeorganizedsfbay work…I’m trying to advertise for them. What’s wrong with people” Kelly responded.

Kelly later edited her caption to add, “I’m promoting a small business so they can make money!!! My timing is bad? Trying to help a small business!”
However, not everyone had an issue with Kelly’s post. Some fans applauded the RHOC star for supporting small businesses and shared their love of her gorgeous closet.
The Real Housewives of Orange County are expected to return to Bravo for season 15 in mid-to-late 2020.
