Lisa Rinna is spilling some tea about season 10 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!
The reality star revealed that everyone in the cast “takes a hit” during season 10. She also said that fans can expect to see more “authentic” show this year.
”I think it’s gonna be a really good season is what I can tell you. It’s cringe-worthy on many levels, for everybody. Everyone’s gonna take a hit — everyone. How about that, I can share that with you, we’re all gonna take a hit,” Lisa confessed.
Speaking of taking a hit, the RHOBH cast is reportedly on rocky ground with co-star Denise after she was caught badmouthing them. Denise has also been accused of lying to the RHOBH cast about her alleged affair with Brandi Glanville.
While the season 10 trailer makes it seem as if the RHOBH cast is ganging up on Denise, Lisa insists looks can be deceiving. In fact, Lisa promises that’s not the way the drama goes down at all.
“I think that’s a really easy way for people to go when they’re in the hot seat, and I don’t think it’s necessarily fair because we’ve all been in the hot seat. God knows if you look back on my season in the beginning … I sat in that hot seat for a long time,” Lisa admitted.
She continued, “And one thing I think careful of doing is blaming and saying, ‘You guys are bullies, you’re mean.’ I think that anyone doing these shows … no one signs up to be a mean girl or a bully. That’s just not part of it. What happens on something like this is you have opinions. And sometimes, the opinions line up for whatever reason.”
Host Danny Pellegrino then pointed out how many RHOBH fans want the franchise to be a bit more authentic and dive into the real-life dramas many members of the cast are facing. Danny specifically noted the various lawsuits several members of the cast have dealt with over the past year or so.
Adding, that in the past RHOBH always seemed to give a behind the curtain look at the lives of the Housewives which is something that has changed in recent years.
So, can fans expect more authenticity for season 10 of RHOBH?
According to Lisa, that’s exactly what fans can expect from the upcoming season.
“Yeah, I think we’ve done a really great season is what I can tell you,” Lisa explained. “And I think that … everyone is more open and maybe more honest than they’ve been in the past. So I think that’s great because I think it’s all about being vulnerable and open and honest. I think that’s what the audience wants to see.”
Season 10 of RHOBH premieres Wednesday, April 15 at 8 p.m. on Bravo!
