Jackie Goldschneider isn’t holding back during a new interview with Danny Pellegrino on his Everything Iconic podcast.
During the interview with Danny, Jackie discusses all things Jersey Housewives including season 11 and her co-star Jennifer Aydin‘s “over the top” behavior at the season 10 reunion.
“We started filming the new season and we only got one week in before we shut down,” Jackie revealed. “If we would have never got going I think it would have been different, but we all like, prepared, and then we started and then we were filming and then … it just stopped. So I think all of us are kind of feeling very unsettled right now.”
When asked if she had any idea when filming for season 11 would resume, Jackie said, “No.”
She continued, “It’s in flux. I think that we can’t really do anything until people start going out in public and congregating again.”
Jackie also said played coy about the season 11 cast of RHONJ but hinted that fans probably already know the scoop. She encouraged fans to stay tuned for what’s to come.
“I don’t know if I’m allowed to say anything. You can see on social media some stuff but … I don’t know if I’m allowed to say!” she explained. “In the first week of filming, I only filmed with one other person so I can’t say firsthand.”
The conversation then switched to the outrageous season 10 reunion, more specifically how Jennifer Aydin‘s behavior was a little too over the top.
“Did you feel like Jennifer was going really hard on the reunion?” Danny asked, adding, “That’s what it felt like watching [it].”
“I don’t know what she was doing, it was so nasty,” Jackie admitted. “I mean, there’s a line between entertaining and nasty. I think it was a little over the top.”
“Everybody deserves their chance to speak, I mean, [the] reunion is where you get that chance to speak and explain yourself. She was really just cutting everyone off and I think it really kind of backfired on her,” Jackie confessed.
She added, “I think that Jennifer thought it would be her moment and her making the reunion really exciting and spicy and I don’t think that people took it that way, I think they were just like, ‘Shut up, I wanna hear what the other women are saying.’”
Danny agreed, noting that many fans felt Jennifer’s behavior was “inauthentic.”
“Absolutely,” Jackie replied. “I think that’s what happened here.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return to Bravo in late 2020 or early 2021.
