The drama is getting a little bit smaller in Dallas!
LeeAnne Locken has announced that she’s leaving the Real Housewives of Dallas after four seasons.
In a statement to PEOPLE, LeeAnne announced her departure and thanked fans for their support over the years.
“The last four years have been a trolley-slapping good time but after much consideration, I have made the personal decision to step away from RHOD,” LeeAnne said in a statement.
“Getting to share my wedding with the viewers last year brought me tremendous joy, however, the season was very personally challenging for me,” she continued. “I am looking forward to stepping away from the cameras and spending quality time with my husband and friends, traveling, but most importantly, getting back to philanthropy, which was my main reason for joining the show.”
“Thank you to everyone who has laughed and cried with me along the way,” LeeAnne added. “It’s been an amazing journey, and yes my pantyliner is still exhausted. There are so many exciting things on my horizon that I can’t wait to share with you.”
Following her public statement, LeeAnne also posted a message to fans on her Instagram account.
“From the bottom of my heart I want THANK YOU ALL for your kindness, your love & for making me laugh when I thought I couldn’t ?? YOU are what kept me going and YOU are who I will always be GRATEFUL for,” LeeAnne wrote alongside a series of photos of her best moments on RHOD.
Since joining RHOD, LeeAnne has been quite the pot-stirrer. While LeeAnne has ignited and fueled much of the drama on RHOD she’s also made us laugh, cry, and be annoyed at her crazy, over the top antics. Either way, LeeAnne was good TV.
Fans and the RHOD cast quickly dubbed LeeAnne a racist, a claim she 100% denied.
Now let’s take a look back at some of LeeAnne’s craziest moments on RHOD.
Season 5 of RHOD is set to begin filming any day now. Bravo has not announced any statements on the season 5 cast. Goodbye Pictures, the production company behind RHOD, was casting for the show back in November 2019.
The Real Housewives of Dallas will return for season 5 in mid-to-late 2020.
