Joe Gorga…you’ve got some explaining to do!
Case in point? Back in January Joe posted a photo of a kitchen captioning it, “Another flip. This house sold for 759,000.00” Turns out, it wasn’t even Joe’s kitchen and he had nothing to do with the project! Page Six confirmed that the photo was taken by photographer Nadav Havakook for Design Depot. Havakook confirmed that Joe “definitely did not have permission to use my images. The photo-shoot was for my client Design Depot.”
Ethan Levy, the president of Design Depot gave a statement to PageSix, stating: “I personally designed that kitchen myself and everything else in the house for one of our clients — who is a developer — and he sold that house for, I believe, $1.5 million, so there’s no way that house sold for $759,000.”
The photo in question is below:
Not sure if Joe plans on blaming this on a 21 year old social media manager; however Joe and his team would not disclose the identity of the social media manager when asked.
In another misleading post, Joey simply posted a photo with the caption “Waterfall edge quartz. Do you like?” Many followers understandably assumed that this was another flip; however turns out it wasn’t even one of Joe’s kitchens:
The photo actually belongs to Dan D’Agostino, owner of the design firm Plan Architecture who states that the photo is of his personal kitchen and was shared without his permission.
“In the design world, we call this sharing inspiration, and he should have provided credit” D’Agostino said.
This really doesn’t look good for Joe and his business and I’m sure eagle eye fans will be combing through past posts to look for more fraudulent photos. As of now, no further comments have been given by Joe or his team.
The ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ airs Wednesday’s on Bravo.
Thoughts on Joe getting caught with more fraudulent photos?
