Gia, 19, Gabriella, 16, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 11, spent time in Italy with their dad in November then again over Christmas but due to their busy school schedules, they don’t have any plans to visit Italy again anytime soon.
“Joe and Teresa remain in a good place and are communicating constantly about the girls. The girls will absolutely visit Joe again soon but nothing is planned as of yet because of so many different school schedules, so it’s a matter of timing,” a source told HollywoodLife. “The older ones can travel alone but someone needs to go with the younger ones so it’s all being figured out but everyone’s hoping it’ll happen sooner than later.”
In late 2019, Teresa and Joe separated after almost 20 years of marriage. Despite the split, the two are doing their best to co-parent their daughters and be civil towards one another.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG has been adamant that she wants to see Joe “happy” and insists that they are “good” following their split.
”I even told Joe, ‘You know, when you find your significant other, I’ll even come and hang out with you to make it good for my girls,” she recently revealed on Pop of the Morning. “Obviously, if I’m fine with it, they’ll be fine with it.”
Because of this Teresa and Joe’s girls are taking the split surprisingly well.
“Teresa & Joe’s girls understand their parents are moving on,” the source explained. “They understand their parents aren’t together and just want them to be happy. They can see they’ve both found some peace and happiness in all of this.”
And while Joe seems to be on his own path to finding happiness again, he’s still appreciative of his ex.
On Valentine’s Day, Joe shared a photo of Teresa with the caption, “Thank you for providing so well for this family. I think we make a great team. I really appreciate you. Happy [heart emoji] day.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
