Kandi Burruss Speaks Out After Valentine’s Day Shooting At Old Lady Gang Restaurant

Kandi Burruss is speaking out after a shooting at her Old Lady Gang restaurant on Valentine’s Day.

As we previously reported, three people were shot on Friday night at Kandi’s well-known OLG restaurant.

According to police, a man entered OLG and shot another. Two others were caught in the crossfire. Thankfully all the injuries were non-life-threatening, and the victims are expected to make a full recovery.

The police are continuing to investigate the incident and are looking for the suspect in question.

On Saturday night, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star addressed the horrifically violent event and released a statement on Instagram.

“My family and I are truly saddened by the unfortunate events that occurred at Old Lady Gang (OLG) Camp Creek, on the evening of February 14th, an evening that was meant to celebrate love, unfortunately, turned into something quite different.
Our prayers and thoughts go out to the individuals that were harmed or in any way negatively impacted. We are aware that this matter is being actively investigated by law enforcement, and we are cooperating with law enforcement to bring to justice those involved,” Kandi wrote.

She continued, “As African-American business owners, it has been our goal to invest in our community by bringing jobs, quality dining, and a positive experience to the greater Atlanta area; we hope that you know and understand that the acts of violence that occurred yesterday evening do not, in any way, serve as a reflection of OLG or its values.”

“We appreciate all of the love and prayers that have come our way, and we encourage anyone with any information regarding any aspects of the events that occurred to please reach out to law enforcement as soon as possible,” Kandi concluded.

Kandi also posted the same message on the OLG Instagram page. On the OLG IG, a fan asked if Kandi’s mom and Aunties were okay, the RHOA clarified that everyone in her family was safe, replying, “yes. They are fine.”

Another fan suggested that Kandi and Todd move their restaurant to a safer location.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
