On February 9th, Candiace sent out a cryptic tweet that read: “I hope I’m front and center when retribution and karma arrive to incinerate the sh*t out of you. You can try to come for me all you want. You’ll always be wide with a thumb for a nose…and ugly never wins. Also. Don’t have your brother send my boss the email next time #heygirl.”
Many believed that the tweet was about Monique and brought it to her attention.
Monique quickly responded writing, “This can’t possibly be about me. I shut her up months ago.”
Well, Candiace caught wind of Monique’s tweet. She fired back and went after Monique hard.
“1st, I wasn’t talking about u. Your wide-bodied peon Cherita has been busy w/my name in her mouth & no balls to say sh*t to my face. Now, this IS for u…when did you shut me up? And please be careful, because we all know the truth about this mystery wine glass…& your status,” Candiace tweeted.
She added, “I am happy to give the congregation the whole story. Including what really goes on behind your closed doors if you want to play. Sis.”
The drama between these two stems from an altercation that allegedly took place between the RHOP co-stars on October 16th.
According to a source, Candiace, and Monique were at a dinner party with their RHOP co-stars. At the dinner, Monique allegedly grabbed Candiace by her hair and pulled her down. The Bravo cameras were said to be rolling for the upcoming fifth season of the show.
“Candiace Dillard reportedly threw a drink at Monique Samuels” in response, “Monique reportedly dragged her and slammed [her] face on the table.”
In November, Monique was charged with second-degree assault after Candiace filed a complaint directly with the court’s commissioner. Later that month, Monique filed a counterclaim against Candiace.
The State’s Attorney’s Office for Montgomery County, Maryland dismissed the charges against both women in December 2019.
The Real Housewives of Potomac will return to Bravo for season 5 in 2020.
