The birthday party drama continues!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star bashed her co-star once again after she was called out by a fan for attending a party at Chuck E. Cheese.
“Woah you’re at Chuckie Cheese for a birthday party…pot calling kettle…I use [sic] to like you but you’re all about money and not real,” a fan wrote on Instagram.
This dig didn’t sit well with Jennifer who responded in a lengthy statement where she took every opportunity to continue to bash Jackie and her sons’ birthday party.
“Are you seriously comparing Jackie’s birthday party to a party at Chuck E. Cheese? A party at Chuck E. Cheese where there are tons of things to do? When you have your party at our house, you save money on the venue and have more leverage to spend it on other things, like how about a chair? There was nowhere to sit. The only option she had was which team you wanted to be on while playing basketball on her driveway for four hours. Shocking I know, to think that not every child out there wants to play basketball? There was no other option,” Jennifer replied.
Jennifer added, “I can be super thrifty. I get my goodie bags at the dollar store! She could’ve had an arts and crafts table for kids who did not want to play basketball. It was the lack of effort of it all. I know the magic of editing made it look like it was just pizza and cake, but when you have a party at your house, and you invite adults to stay, and it’s not drop off, there’s usually more than pizza and cake especially with someone of her means.”
“She critiqued me and the overabundance of it all last year in an article, which I am not holding a grudge over, I am simply pointing out the fact that she critiqued me about how I overdo it, so how come it’s such a crime to critique her when she underdoes it? She had no balloons. Nothing about standing around on a driveway for four hours, to me, equals a birthday party and she threw her amazon box full of her “goody bags” on the driveway! And the ironic thing is that there weren’t even bags. I had two kids giving me 2 jump ropes and two other kids giving me two squeezy footballs, me having to carry everything, sticking it under each armpit, running out of hands because she didn’t give it enough effort to even put it in a bag! Hello! $store!” Jennifer continued.
However, Jennifer didn’t stop there. She went on to defend throwing her kids over the top parties and said she doesn’t do it to “show off.”
Jennifer also said that Jackie can keep her “cheap-ass parties” and that she will continue to throw her “shoving my money down your throat” parties
“What I do, I do for me and my family. I’m proud of the fact that I can do the things for my kids that I never had. I don’t do anything for your or anyone else’s approval. Because to any of you out there who want to criticize me, I still will not alter. The party I had for Gabby this year, I had the same exact party last year and it wasn’t filmed,” Jennifer explained. “I don’t do it to show off. I do it for me and because I love treating my guests like they are of value to me. It was her lack of effort in it all. And I know you all are seeing it now, but I really couldn’t care less about how she spends her money. It can all end tomorrow, everything, the money- life! I’m going to make the most of it while I can. I’m enjoying it with my family and friends and making memories that stand out, that are extraordinary! She can keep her cheap-ass parties and I’ll keep my “shoving my money down your throat” parties. Agree to disagree.”
