Did former RHONJ Dina Manzo shed some light about something very odd about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram Account?
Dina took to her Instagram stories after noticing that she was mysteriously following the ‘SussexRoyal’ Instagram account (the official Instagram account of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.) Their official account has 11 million followers; however, were a number of those followers duped into following them? According to Dina – it’s a possibility!
Dina reached out to her followers asking, “did anyone else find themselves automatically following Sussex Royal? I KNOW I didn’t follow that myself…didn’t even know about it until I heard something on the radio last week. I have never seen it on my feed until today???”
After a number of followers confirmed that they too had suddenly been added as a ‘follower’ without actually following them, Dina reached back out to thank her (actual) followers for the feedback: “Thank you for confirming I’m not crazy!! So MANY of you had the same thing happen to them this morning. Showed up on their feed, clicked and they were following. Not a cute look Megxit.”
So what’s going on? The theory is if you visit the SussexRoyal web page, you will be asked to accept cookies which will automatically add you as a follower. Keep in mind that that this speculation; however the Daily Mail did just post a story about The Duke and Duchess hitting 11 million Instagram followers, catching up with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just two days after they were 100,000 fans behind.
I was already following the account so I haven’t noticed anything, but thanks to Detective Dina be sure to keep your eye out on the pages your following!
