Brandi Redmonds Addresses Leaked Video Controversy Plus, Calls Out One RHOD Co-Star For Stirring the Pot!

Brandi Redmond is putting it all on the table!

The Real Housewives of Dallas star has finally addressed her leaked video controversy. Brandi shared her thoughts and feelings on Friday’s episode of her podcast, Weekly Dose of B.S.

Following part one of the Real Housewives of Dallas season 4 reunion, a video of Brandi from 2017 mysteriously resurfaced online. In the video, Brandi can be heard using a mock Asian accent while talking about her squinty eyes.

Days after the video appeared online the RHOD star publically apologized, tweeting, “A video resurfaced of me from years ago which at the time I had posted then quickly deleted then immediately apologized for my insensitivity. I would like to once again sincerely apologize for my offensive actions.”

It was then revealed that the RHOD star had checked herself into a wellness center to “reflect and better herself.”

“Brandi has checked into a wellness center to reflect and better herself,” the rep explained. “She will be back with us next week. We support her on this journey of healing and ask that you join us in that.”

Now, she’s addressing the controversy and is calling out one of her RHOD c0-star’s for stirring the pot.

“Thank you to these souls that cried with me, prayed with me and were a positive light in my life & helped my family during this difficult time. Stephanie & Travis, D’Andra & Jeremy, Mama Dee, Kary & Eduardo, my parents, my family, close friends, and my amazing husband and children. I am so grateful for God helping me through this, allowing me to heal and love myself. To those that set out to hurt me, know that I still have compassion for you in my heart. Thank you all for hearing my truth and my heart. #loveyourself Have a beautiful and blessed weekend my friends,” Brandi wrote alongside a clip from her podcast.

In the clip, Brandi says she knows the video “conveniently resurfaced” as a “deflection.” Brandi didn’t come out and say it but it’s obvious she is referring to LeeAnne Locken, who at the time the video leaked was being forced to address racist remarks she made during season 4.

But regardless of how or why the video came to light four years later, Brandi says she knows it was ” wrong, insensitive” and she’s “sorry” for it.

Brandi went on to say that she was “blindsided and gutted by one individual” that she took the “Real Housewives journey with.”

While Brandi didn’t name names many believe she is referring to Kameron Westcott, who has spoken out about Brandi’s controversial video in a now-deleted post on social media. While others believe she’s referring to LeeAnne.

Brandi went on to say that she felt like one co-star was involved in a “takedown” with her as the target.

“It went from making an example of me” to “a campaign for hate and bullying” Brandi explained.

Adding, people who “know my heart and know who I am” tried to “humiliate and shame” me.

Brandi also addressed why she sought treatment after falling into a deep depression over all of this.

Meanwhile, several of Brandi’s RHOD co-stars have showered her with support.

The Real Housewives of Dallas will return for season 5 in mid-to-late 2020.

Thoughts on Brandi’s comments? Are you shocked Brandi became so depressed she needed professional help? Do you think she regrets her actions?
