Gretchen Rossi is sharing her take on The Real Housewives of Orange County this season!
The alum of the OC recently appeared on Brandi Glanville’s podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered. She weighed in on this season of the RHOC, Tamra Judge’s lawsuit with Alexis Bellino’s ex-husband Jim Bellino, her CBD business, life after having a baby, plus if she will ever return to the show!
Gretchen shared, “It’s being so questioned and challenged, especially this year. People say, ‘Everything looks so fake and it’s so set up and these Tres Amigas every five seconds.’ People are just over it. They’re like, ‘This is not content that I want to be watching anymore.’ It’s not uplifting in any way.”
According to Reality Blurb, Gretchen says this season is “bad” and that she feels Tamra’s lawsuit is her “karma.” Gretchen said that RHOC has become “drag-down, ugly fighting” and “gross stuff” right now.
Gretchen added, “And when the audience starts speaking up and saying things like that, that’s when the network really needs to look at the cast.”
As far as Tamra’s defamation lawsuit that Jim had filed against her after she said he is shady and that he was “going to jail,” Gretchen says it’s Tamra’s “karma.”
She said, “That’s called karma coming back to [Tamra] for all the sh*t [she’s] done over the years.”
Gretchen has been with Slade Smiley for eleven years and they recently welcomes a baby girl, Skylar Gray. Gretchen shared they are engaged but “technically not officially married.” She said they haven’t had a wedding for “no particular reason.”
Will Gretchen ever return to the RHOC?
She explained, “We’re so happy and so when you go back on a show like that, that’s so toxic and negative, they just want to tear every aspect of your life down. I don’t believe that me going on a show with someone like Tamra and the fact that she is so vicious and so out to get people and willing to say and do anything to keep her paycheck. That is not a cast member that I want to be on a show with.”
Furthermore; she shared, “In general, that’s the formula of what Bravo does. At the end of the day, they have to make good, salacious TV. I get it.” She added she says, “Never say never.”
Gretchen also opened up about her CBD business after she and Slade were featured on a recent episode of Inside Edition after it was reported that they were allegedly selling incorrectly labeled CBD products. Gretchen stated, “Our lawyers are involved now. The fact of the matter is that what happened was the false news they put out there, they didn’t show what was actually said and how we refuted what we said. Now we have to go out and prove that they were wrong… The good news is we have the truth on our side.”
Gretchen is now a mommy, and she has been open about her process with IVF to have her daughter. She’s not sure if she would do it again. She said, “I am 42. I still need to lose 20 pounds and it has been the hardest thing in the world to lose one pound. I was 120 before I went through IVF. I went to 142 through IVF and then I gained another 38 pounds during my pregnancy.” Plus, she opened up about baby weight. She said that after giving birth in July, “I lost 25 pounds immediately and then I’ve been stuck at that 145, 140 weight for four months.”
You never know, we could be seeing Gretchen on the RHOC again! Anything is possible, and it would be fun to have her back on the show because so much has changed and now she’s a mom like she always wanted. It would be interesting to watch with all of these new, exciting dynamics. I’m looking forward to what the future has in store! Stay tuned, lovebugs.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
