Teresa Giudice is Standing Strong.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star recently provided an update on her husband Joe Giudice’s deportation case. Teresa and Joe’s legal issues and deportation battle have been featured on the RHONJ for the last few seasons. During season 10 which is currently airing, we watched his appeal be denied in the spring. Joe was released from ICE custody back in October to go back to Italy where he is currently awaiting a final decision in his ongoing deportation case.
Teresa recently opened up during Bravo’s After Show. She said, “Of course, [our daughters] were upset [about the appeal]. Who wouldn’t be upset? But again, we’re still fighting. The fight’s still not over. We’re still going to the third circuit, but I told the girls it’s going to be like a year and a half before we hear anything.”
The Giudice’s family lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr. had stated prior, “We are still fighting and it is his desire to return home to the United States to be reunited with his family.”
Teresa and their four daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana all traveled to Italy to visit Joe last month. In the After Show, Teresa shared how her daughter’s are doing. Teresa also confirmed last month on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that her daughter’s will be seeing their dad again over Christmas. Teresa is figuring out her work commitments but will for sure be able to go visit in the summer when her girls are off school.
Fellow co-stars Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider also weighed in on the situation.
