Not even the boss man gets a pass from Nene!
The RHOA star was livid with her boss for calling out a superficial (and frankly unnecessary) fact during a recent episode from WWHL. During the episode, Andy called out Nene for wearing the same dress in her confessional as she did in an episode of WWHL in L.A. Andy stated:
“By the way, one of NeNe’s confessional looks this year is the same dress she wore to our big doorbell show in L.A. where the strap broke, so I guess she fixed her strap, which we love,” he said. “We just love our eagle-eyed researchers here!”
While the audience gasped, Eva Marcille couldn’t stop laughing. Andy seemed confused as he insisted he didn’t mean for it to be shady; however, Nene wasn’t having it. Taking to Instagram, Nene stated:
“It’s enough that we #RHOA ladies come for each other, and now we have to worry about executives coming for us! No, I mean coming for me!” she added. “It’s not cool. Wasn’t you interviewing those girls? What you mad about? Y’all stay coming for me, but soon as I say something or do something, I’m wrong????? I DONT APPRECIATE THIS AT ALL.”

Can somebody please tell me what was the point of this? Like i don’t get it. That was 2 years ago i wore this dress ONCE, so i can’t sit in a confessional with it on @bravoandy How many times have you recycled your suits and ties? #pointless #messy why you care? It’s enough that we #RHOA ladies come for each other and now we have to worry about executives coming for us! No i mean coming for me! It’s not cool. Wasn’t you interviewing those girls? What you mad about? Y’all stay coming for me but soon as i say something or do something I’m wrong????? I DONT APPRECIATE THIS AT ALL #marchesanotte
Then in a separate post on Instagram, NeNe gave examples of several famous style icons who have repeated outfits over the years. The list included Kate Middleton, Michelle Obama, and Kim Kardashian just to name a few.
“Not sure why women who are public figures can’t repeat an outfit but these ladies did it fabulously and I will continue to do so whenever I feel like it. I love my clothes,” NeNe wrote alongside the post.
Meanwhile, on Twitter, a fan called out Andy for his shady comment about NeNe.
“You know it was shady,” one fan tweeted. However, Andy didn’t seem phased and used one of NeNe’s most infamous quotes to clap back, telling the fan, “I said what I said.”

NeNe responded, tweeting, “And what you said was some bullshit.”
For what it’s worth, I’m team NeNe on this one. Commenting that a woman *gasp* wore a dress more than once is unnecessary. To her point, no one would ever question a man (i.e., Andy) for wearing the same suit over and over. Expecting women to have a wardrobe where they are never seen in the same thing twice is ridiculous. Even Duchess Kate is known for recycling her gorgeous dresses for different events.
