Hell may have just frozen over in Orange County – for real.
After a season of low-blows and crazy accusations, Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd have made amends. According to Kelly, she and Vicki smoothed things over once and for all at the Real Housewives of Orange County season 14 reunion.
“We did, yeah,” Kelly revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “I mean, I wish the best for Vicki. I don’t want to hold onto grudges with her, but I wish Vicki the best, I really do.”
It’s unclear if Vicki and Kelly will ever be friends again or if they will just be cordial moving forward. Only time will tell what’s in the cards for these two former friends.
On a happier note, Vicki and Kelly are both planning weddings for 2020, which could very well help reignite their friendship, but then again, who knows with these two.
Speaking of weddings, Kelly says, “We wanna get married Oct. 10, 2020, however it’s kind of a fast thing. I mean, we’re so busy all of December, January. We don’t — were hoping for that. We just don’t know, logistically, how we’re gonna do it.”
Then again, Kelly and Vicki may never have to worry about feuding if Kelly gets her wish, and Bravo transfers her to the Real Housewives of New York. As we’ve previously reported, Kelly is planning on moving to New York after getting married so she can be closer to her fiancé Rick Leventhal, who lives and works in the Big Apple. Kelly has hinted that she’d love to join the RHONY and RHONY star Ramona Singer is all for it.
However, Kelly now says she’d give up Real Housewives altogether to live in NYC and be with her man full-time.
“New York is my jam,” she says. “I have tons of friends here; I have Rick here. I would love to move to New York. I feel like I fit in way more in New York than I do in Orange County … New York’s more my speed.”
Kelly has been spending more and more time in New York and even spent Thanksgiving in the city with her 13-year-old daughter, Jolie. During the trip, Jolie and Rick finally got to spend some quality time together and bond.
“Oh, they love each other,” Kelly gushes. “I mean, we spent a whole week together and Jolie goes, ‘I want to come back for Christmas,’ so he was, like, really shocked about it. It was really cute, yeah.”
Meanwhile, Kelly’s fiancé is shutting down rumors that her engagement ring is borrowed. In November, the Tres Amigas, aka Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, and Vicki Gunvalson, shaded Kelly’s engagement ring while claiming it was borrowed from a woman named Nicole.
Tamra quipped to ET, “And by the way, Nicole wants her ring back.”
Adding that Nicole is “the girl who used to own the ring.”
“You should be ashamed of yourself for promoting this BS. Ridiculous, and 100% false. I have the proof if you’d bothered to ask,” Rick tweeted in response to the accusation.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Tuesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
Are you surprised Kelly and Vicki made amends at the reunion? Will their truce last? Should Bravo transfer Kelly to RHONY? Do you believe Kelly would give up Real Housewives?
