Most of the drama on season 14 of the Real Housewives of Orange County has been UGLY. From lawsuits to sex trains to drugs and trash-talking tweets, it hasn’t been an easy season for the OC Housewives.
And from the looks of it, it’s only about to get uglier as the Housewives head into the upcoming reunion.
From what we’ve heard, the season 14 reunion gets pretty dramatic and that a major meltdown occurs.
A pleasant moment between Kelly and Vicki is the last thing anyone expected considering how bad things are between the two former friends.
“There was a lot of screaming and finger-pointing involved by both; however, everyone was surprised as they hugged at the end of the night,” a source close to the situation tells HollywoodLife. “Everyone in the entire cast was shocked to see this happen. The ‘RHOC’ reunion taping was filled with so much drama, and Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd were at the center of most it.”
Kelly’s new happiness in her love life seemed to be what encouraged her to extend an olive branch to Vicki once and for all.
“Kelly initiated the hug to Vicki because she’s honestly never been happier in her entire life and has just had it with all the screaming and the fighting and felt like it was time to try to end everything,” the source revealed. “It’s clear at the core both of these women are hurt, and Kelly did this because she wanted to extend the olive branch if you will, and Vicki did accept.”
Although Vicki and Kelly shared a moment at the reunion, not much about their relationship has changed. The two continue to shade each other on Twitter and in the press.
“Kelly feels she really tried to move things forward, but neither really wants anything to do with the other still,” the source said. “They’re by no means in a good place at all, but it was a step in at least being cordial again with one another, though it seems short-lived.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Tuesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
