The Holidays can be a time for celebration and reflection and judging by Kenya Moore’s recent statements, she is feeling lonely this time of year.
Kenya states, “I don’t think it’s hit me yet that we’re not actually together. I have a lot going on that I didn’t necessarily want to, [and] it’s hard when you’re going through a hard time and you don’t want to expose that. But living your truth and you own it and based on my experience on the show, you have to be authentic. And so, it’s hard to watch some things, you know.”
Kenya and Marc made it official in a private ceremony in St. Lucia two years ago and welcomed daughter Brooklyn in 2018. While all looked happy from afar, the two announced their split in September 2019.
When asked about a possible reconciliation, Kenya was cryptic; however, left little hope that the two were heading in that direction:
“We’re just taking one day at a time. I have a daughter now, so I really don’t’ have time for nonsense so that’s the way I am with everything.”
“I am hopeful and have always wanted to work on our relationship, but I just don’t know if that’s even a possibility at this point, honestly. Marc doesn’t seem to be there. I’d feel more comfortable calling it quits if I knew I’d tried everything, and it still didn’t work. And we definitely didn’t do everything we could have don’t to save our relationship.”
Despite Kenya not always being a fan favorite, I’ve always been rooting for her to find her happily ever after and really thought this was it. Time will tell what is in store for these two.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
Do you think Kenya and Marc will reconcile or is it over for good?
