The BravoCon tea is piping hot, so take a seat and let us pour you a cup!
The biggest and most exciting news to come out of BravoCon was the announcement of a new Real Housewives franchise.
Bravo revealed that the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will be coming to the network in 2020.
“We’ve always tried to choose a city that has completely unique personalities, and we also try to throw a little curveball now and then. Pick somewhere you weren’t expecting,” Andy Cohen said at BravoCon while announcing the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
“You didn’t see it coming, but I have to tell you, in Utah, you have the majesty of the mountains, the Mormon religion, an exclusive community of people who have very successful businesses who live in their own universe,” he continued. “It is gorgeous, and I think you’re going to be really surprised and intrigued by the group of women we’ve found.”
With that said, let’s dish on other revelations from BravoCon.
Ramona Singer Says RHONY is better off without Bethenny Frankel! Yes, you heard that, right!
“I think we’re better; we’re stronger” without Bethenny, Ramona confessed.
Luann de Lesseps added, “we have such a great season.”
Ramona also revealed that Sonja Morgan is “struggling” at the moment.
“We’re doing well, Sonja is in a little bit of a difficult place,” she revealed. “She has a lot of things that she’s overwhelmed with, and she’s struggling a little bit. And we’re all there to support her. And I love Sonja; she has a heart of gold. She has a laugh that’s infectious. She’s very special to me.”
If the RHONY cast had to bring back a former castmember, Luann pick would be Jill Zarin. However, Ramona doesn’t agree and says she likes the RHONY cast just as it is.
“You’re going to see a little bit of Jill [Zarin] on the show. For me, I would bring back Jill,” Luann confessed.
Ramona fired back, “I like it just the way we are,” which prompted Luann to yell, “Ramona!”
During the Real 90210 panel at BravoCon, a fan pressed Dorit Kemsley about her ever-changing accent, asking, “When does your real accent come out?”
Dorit handled the awkward question like a pro and said she can’t fake anything, including her accent, around her castmates since she’s with them “all the time.”
Co-star Erika Girardi backed Dorit up, telling the audience, “this is her real voice,” to which Teddi Mellencamp agreed.
“Does she get influenced sometimes by her husband’s accent? Yes,” Girardi said, referencing Dorit’s hubby PK, who hails from the UK.
Jax Taylor and Lala Kent revealed that they’re unsure about ‘thirsty’ new Pump Rules cast members.
“I don’t like the new people. … We’ve been around for 8 years. You can see a thirsty person coming a mile away,” Jax confessed.
Lala agreed, adding “Throw them some Aquafina, for real. It’s crazy.”
Katie Maloney-Schwartz also chimed in, “You can’t really compare us to them.”
“It’s difficult. It’s challenging to be on reality television,” LVP dished. “But yeah, some you just kind of gel with and some, you don’t. She kind of always made everything more complicated for me, which wasn’t easy when somebody is working with you.”
Adding that she’d like to see Kristen to “evolve a little more” and is sick of going “around and around in circles” with her.
Porsha Williams STILL wants to get married on TV despite fiancé Dennis McKinley’s cheating scandal.
On Saturday at the RHOA panel, Porsha told fans that they will “hopefully see me get married on television.”
“By them seeing him take responsibility, me learning to forgive — all of that is something that will hopefully empower them,” she added.
Teresa Giudice dissed Danielle Staub in a major way! Teresa asked the crowd at the RHONJ panel if they liked Danielle, and they responded by yelling, “No!” while also booing loudly.
She then summed up her season 10 drama with Danielle saying, “Don’t bite the hands that feeds you.”
The RHONJ OG also revealed that she’s still friends with her rumored boytoy, Blake Schreck.
“Yes, I am,” Teresa said of Blake, who is 21-years her junior.
At the OG panel on Friday, Caroline Manzo revealed what she would do if she ran into Teresa.
“I would say hello to her. If I saw her tomorrow face to face, it’s just human decency. I don’t have to like you,” Caroline explained.
At the Housewives 2 Housewives panel hosted by Jerry O’Connell, the Housewives dished about their most-awkward fan encounters.
“I had a fan show up at my house,” Brandi Redmond of RHOD said. “I was having a cookout, and we were all swimming in the backyard, and one of my husband’s friends answered the door just thinking that it was just, they were invited. So then a trail of people come into my backyard, and we’re swimming, cooking out, and I’m like, ‘Who are they?’ ”
“But, this fan, she was super sweet,” she continued. “She had her friends with her, and she wanted to try on my poop hat, so I was like, ‘Sure!’ We took a picture, she ate a hot dog, and then she left.”
Tamra Judge says that a fan found her address and sent her “dildos and KY jelly” while also sending her ex-husband Simon Barney and current hubby Eddie Judge copies of Playboy magazine.
“It got so weird, I had to contact like authorities,” Tamra added.
“I do want to apologize for doing that to you! I thought it was funny at the time!” Jerry joked.
