The OG of the OC is over the drama!
Vicki is reportedly “tired of the negativity” with Kelly and wants to move on, which is why she dropped her lawsuit against Kelly, Bravo, and Evolution Media.
“Vicki had intent to pursue legal recourse against Kelly Dodd and the network for defamation against her business. She has since dismissed the case against Bravo, Evolution Media, and Kelly Dodd,” a source tells Us Weekly. “Vicki owes a legal and fiduciary obligation to her company, staff, and clients. Her intent is to protect Coto Insurance & Financial Services from the meritless accusations from an upcoming episode.”
The source adds that Vicki talked “to the producers and has resolved the issue amicably.”
During the cast trip to Key West, Kelly told Vicki, “You prey on older people” and “engaged in ‘fraud.”
Kelly also called Vicki “a con woman.”
Meanwhile, Vicki will be attending the season 14 reunion, which is a taping on Friday, November 8th. It was reported that Vicki would not be able to participate in the upcoming season 14 reunion if she continued her lawsuit, which may be what enticed Vicki to drop her lawsuit against Kelly and Bravo. Many fans also believed that Vicki’s lawsuit could affect her standing on the show moving forward.
“Vicki has nothing to hide. She has a lot to say and is attending the reunion taping this week,” the source explains. “She is tired of the negativity. She is looking forward to a successful ending of Season 14 as it wraps up with the reunion this week.”
However, it seems that Vicki may not have gotten her way as a source close to production says “no scenes were edited out” of season 14.
“Their confrontation will still be seen in an upcoming episode. And Vicki is planning to attend the reunion,” the production source said.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Tuesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
