Vicki Gunvalson has withdrawn her lawsuit against former friend and Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Kelly Dodd. The OG of the OC also put the breaks on her lawsuit against Bravo TV and Evolution Media.
“She has spoken to the producers and has resolved the issues amicably,” says the source close to Gunvalson, tells PEOPLE.
It was reported that Vicki would not be able to attend the upcoming season 14 reunion if she continued her lawsuit, which may be what enticed Vicki to drop her lawsuit against Kelly and Bravo. Many fans also believed that Vicki’s lawsuit could affect her standing on the show moving forward.
During the cast trip to Key West, Kelly told Vicki, “You prey on older people” and “engaged in ‘fraud.”
Kelly also called Vicki “a con woman.”
According to the legal documents, Vicki told RHOC producers in writing that the claims are lies and explained that the comments could damage her career if aired.
The OG of the OC decided to take legal action because she believed producers would not cut Kelly’s comment from the episode.
“She is tired of the negativity,” says the source.
“Vicki owes a legal and fiduciary obligation to her company, staff, and clients. Her intent is to protect Coto Insurance & Financial Services from the meritless accusations from an upcoming episode,” the source adds.
“Vicki has nothing to hide. She has a lot to say and is attending the reunion taping this week,” the source continues. “She is looking forward to a successful ending of season 14 as it wraps up.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County air Tuesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
