Following Sunday’s RHONJ Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked, Andy answered questions about the dramatic sitdown interview on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live.
“Do you have any guilt? It’s almost like you’re a fire-starter,” the caller asked Andy.
The WWHL host agreed that he’s a bit of a fire-starter but went on to say he doesn’t feel any guilt over Teresa and Joe’s legal issues.
“I don’t have any guilt. This is a voluntary process,” Andy said. “Putting your life and putting yourself of reality television, the risks are obvious; they are well-known, especially if you have something to hide.”
However, the bigger question is: Do Teresa and Joe regret joining the Real Housewives of New Jersey?
Andy asked that very question during his sit down interview with the couple.
Teresa makes it clear that, despite it all, she doesn’t regret joining the show that seemingly made her famous and very rich.
Joe, on the other hand, does seem to regret ever getting involved in the world of reality TV.
“Teresa always wanted to be on television,” Joe revealed. “She always wanted to be a movie star since she was a little girl. She got her wish, which is good.”
He continued, “To be honest, I wish I never would have done it. I had a great life before. You know the show just brought a lot of attention to us. Just having a house like that alone brings a lot of attention. I never had so many damn lawsuits in my life until after I got on that show. So, did it change my life? Yes. Did it change Teresa’s? Who knows. But it definitely changed my life.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns for season 10 on Wednesday, November 6th, at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
