Over the last several weeks, multiple reports have surfaced, claiming that season 10 of RHOBH is lacking drama in a significant way. So much so, that Bravo is worried. The reports say that RHOBH has “essentially no drama” without Lisa Vanderpump and that the current cast is “getting along.”
RHOBH newbie Garcelle had similar sentiments when discussing the rumor with HollywoodLife.
“You know, I think that’s wrong. I mean, I think like Lisa Vanderpump had her time and I think this is a new energy, you can’t compare. This is new energy, new life, and new stories. And you can’t really compare. That was then, this is now,” Garcelle confessed.
“Everybody wants drama. There will be some…I mean, you’ve got to watch the show, but I will always keep it real,” she added.
Garcelle also opened up about how she’s handling her new role as a reality TV star.
“I’m enjoying it. I’m sort of feeling it out,” she admitted. “You know what I mean? It’s new. I’ve never done reality before. I’ve always been an actor, and you get scripts, and you know what to do. So this has been really interesting. But so far, so good. I can’t complain. I’m sure I will at some point.”
Meanwhile, Garcelle’s co-star and fellow actress Denise Richards is addressing rumors that she’s been missing-in-action throughout of much of filming for season 10 due to her busy work schedule.
While chatting with HollywoodLife, Denise admits she “didn’t hear” about said rumor but teases, “You’re going to have to watch, and wait, and see.”
Regardless, Denise says fans can expect to get an honest and real look at the lives of the Beverly Hills Housewives during season 10, pointing out that the whole point of the show is to capture what’s really going on.
“Housewives is a reality show, so they film reality, and whatever you’re working on, they’ll film that,” Denise explained. “I think that the Housewives film the jobs, and family life and other things we have going on in our life, otherwise it wouldn’t be a reality show.”
