The Real Housewives of Orange County stars aren’t on the best of terms as season 14 plays out on Bravo. While the two haven’t exactly been fighting on RHOC they haven’t been the best of friends either.
One reason for there discord is the s%$t talking that Emily seems to be doing off-screen. Over the last several months Emily has made it known that she’s not a fan of the RHOC Tres Amigas a.k.a. Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson. Emily has even gone so far as to call the Tres Amigas “bullies” and “mean girls.”
During an appearance on The Domenick Nati Show, Emily explained, “I think those three, they are out for themselves and so I don’t trust them as a group. They stick together very tightly and they don’t like to go outside their group. I would be leery of trying to infiltrate that group.”
As for Shannon specifically, Emily says that she thinks Shannon is different when she’s not filming RHOC.
“I think those three, they are out for themselves and so I don’t trust them as a group. They stick together very tightly and they don’t like to go outside their group. I would be leery of trying to infiltrate that group.”
Now in a new interview with Us Weekly, Shannon responds to Emily’s comments and says that she should “focus on her own life.”
“I keep hearing about all the things that Emily has to say about me, and my response is she should focus on her own life instead of trying to talk about me and other cast members,” Shannon said. “It’s not fun to have a divide. I don’t like arguing with anyone, so we’ll see what happens.”
However, despite the divide, Shannon isn’t ruling out making amends with Emily in the future.
“Never say never, because I’m friends with Vicki today, who would’ve thought?” Shannon revealed. “Tres Amigas. Yeah, we’re muy bueno.…We have a history together, and we went to Mexico and came up with that funny term last year. So there’s a lot of talk about a lot of people. So, [Emily should] focus on herself.”
Speaking of making amends, Shannon admits she’s still on the fence about Kelly Dodd. Shannon and Kelly had a falling out when Kelly hit Shannon on the head with a mallet during a wellness retreat.
“Now she’s saying she wished she hit me harder. So yeah, that’s nice. Who says that?” Shannon explained. “I think that a lot of people would have a field day trying to figure out how her thought process works. So I can’t speak for her.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County air Tuesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
Thoughts on Shannon’s comments? Do you think Shannon and Emily will ever be good friends?
