Teresa and Joe Giudice are staying together – for now.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star previously revealed that she had no interest in a long-distance marriage. If you remember at the RHONJ season 9 reunion, Teresa made it known that she would divorce Joe if he were deported to Italy.
This means that Joe and Teresa will reach their 20th wedding anniversary milestone on October 23rd. Yay!
It turns out that Joe and Teresa are remaining together for one particular reason – their four daughters.
“Neither Teresa nor Joe will be filing for divorce anytime because of the girls who really want them to stay together,” a source close to the Giudice family tells HollywoodLife.
It’s “very important” to the couple’s four daughters Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10 that their parents remain together.
“Because of that, it’s important for Teresa and Joe,” the source adds.
However, this doesn’t rule out divorce. The couple could eventually split, but it all depends on what happens with Joe’s deportation case.
“This is not to say they’d never divorce, but for now, it’s not happening, and it’s all because of their daughters’ wishes,” the source reveals. “There [are] a lot of issues between them, and they still talk all of the time because they have to. If the girls weren’t in the picture, the story would be much different.”
“Joe being out won’t change anything for the way Teresa is living her life,” the source continues. “The only reason she wants him back in the States is because of her daughters. Everything she’s doing is solely for them at this point when it comes to Joe. Teresa’s dad and best friends have truly been there for her, but she’s really been doing OK, at least on the outside.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns for season 10 on Wednesday, November 6th, at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
