Teresa Giudice The Real Housewives of New Jersey - RHONJ

Joe Giudice’s Mother Filomena And Brother Pete Are Currently With Him In Italy, Plus Teresa Giudice And The Girls Are Set To Visit Him Next Month!

Joe Giudice is finally free!

Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe, was released from ICE custody on Friday and he headed straight for Italy. Joe and his family are continuing to fight his deportation verdict that they appealed – while he is living abroad in Italy. Joe’s brother Pietro ‘Pete’ Giudice and their mother, Filomena Giudice, are with him in Italy right now. The two arrived in Italy early to clean out a place for Joe to live in.  Joe and Teresa have four daughters together: Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. They’re set to visit him in Italy next month in November! Gia confirmed this news in a recent post on Instagram.

As seen on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the Giudice family has been through a lot over the last five-plus years. The Giudice’s attorney, James J. Leonard Jr. confirmed to People that Joe is “free.” He stated on Friday night, “He is en route to Italy right now. He spoke to Teresa and Gia from the plane, and he is extremely happy to be released, more than words can describe. We are still fighting, and it is his desire to return home to the United States to be reunited with his family.”

Joe had originally petitioned to be released to his home he shares with his wife Teresa and their four daughters. That petition was denied, so he petitioned to be allowed to go to Italy and he was approved earlier this month.

Joe’s sister-in-law, Sheila Giudice, shared a photo of both of the brothers on Instagram: “A day we’ve all been patiently waiting for. Pete and Joe reunited at last. Smiles bigger and brighter than the sky. Our hearts are so full.” Sheila added some heart emojis to her sweet caption.

Teresa’s cousin, Kathy Wakile, commented, “God Bless them! So happy to see their smiles. Happy & Healthy.” She included the prayer emoji in her comment. Kathy was on the RHONJ alongside Teresa for a couple of seasons.

While Joe is in Italy, he’s able to work and make money to provide for his family. Joe and the family are hopeful that he will be allowed back to the United States again. Joe began serving his 41-month prison sentence in March of 2016. He was released in March of 2019 and was immediately taken into ICE custody.

Teresa reacted to the sad news Friday on social media, by posting a photo of the Statue of Liberty crying. Teresa received a lot of love and prayers for all that she is going through. She captioned the photo with prayer emojis.

Gia shared a photo with her dad on Instagram, with the caption, “facetime you soon, daddy.”Gia later shared a screenshot of the Facetime call she had with her dad following his release. Gia wrote, “One of the happiest moments of my life Love you so much daddy, so happy your [sic] free! See you soon.”

Gia also shared a Facetime screenshot with her sister Gabriella, during their call with their father. Gia wrote, “I still can’t get over this. I love you more than words can describe.”

Us Weekly reported that Teresa is already planning a trip with her daughters to Italy. Insiders revealed, “Teresa already has a trip to Italy planned. She’ll be taking all her girls. Teresa and all the girls will be visiting sooner rather than later. It’s fast approaching.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres season 10 on Wednesday, November 6th, at 9 pm EST on Bravo.

My thoughts and prayers are with Joe, Teresa, and the girls! I’m hoping that they will be reunited very soon, and I hope that Joe can come back to America to be with his wife and daughters. Joe has lost so much weight, just like Teresa had been updating viewers on the RHONJ that he had. He looks great! I’m wishing all the best for this family!
