For the last three and a half years, Joe Giudice has been living behind bars either in federal prison or in ICE custody. During that time, his wife Teresa Giudice and their four daughters Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10 have formed an unbreakable bond that has brought them closer than ever before.
Now that Joe’s forever fate remains in the balance, and he is, most likely, heading to Italy to await a decision in his deportation case, the couple’s oldest daughter Gia has made sure her three younger sisters are coping with the possibility that their dad may never return to their NJ home.
“Joe Giudice going back to Italy has brought Teresa’s girls even closer than ever, so in a way, she looks at this whole situation as a blessing in disguise,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com.
“Gia is so instrumental in all of this, and she even left Rutgers immediately when she heard Joe was going back to Italy just to be there with her sisters. Gia is so mature and amazing and has been another rock for Teresa. She just wants this to all be over for her daughters. Though there are no plans to visit yet, she, of course, will figure out something for the girls to see their father,” the insider adds.
As we’ve previously reported, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star has no plans to follow her husband.
“Teresa is juggling her four daughters and working non-stop. She seriously shows no signs of facing any hardship,” a source explained. “She is definitely a warrior. She has moved past serving time and has been nothing but a true support to Joe despite everything that’s happened. With that said, she has no plans to move to Italy.”
“She has been parenting without Joe for years now, and her father is one of her biggest supporters. The girls just love him, and it keeps him young. She feels really lucky to have a male figure in the house,” the source continued. “Teresa barely sleeps because there is very little time to. She needs to support her daughters, and she truly cares about her career.”
