On this week’s episode, Brandi and Kameron clashed over the rooming situation at Kary Brittingham’s vacation home. Things got extra spicy when Brandi used the F word and Kameron tossed a napkin at her and said, “That was trash.”
In her confessional, Kameron said, “There’s no reason to use the F word in my face. It’s bad manners. I am mortified.”
“Well, if somebody is going to call me ‘trash,’ I just hope that they’ll recycle me, first of all,” Brandi joked to The Daily Dish this week after the episode aired.
However, as we saw during Wednesday’s episode Kameron’s trash comment really hurt Brandi and brought her back to her childhood.
“It stems from my childhood, and I grew up in a military family, and we didn’t have the finer things in life. I lived in a trailer in a trailer park,” Brandi explained in her confessional. “I remember feeling like people didn’t want to invite me over because I was less than. What’s sad about it is I can remember those feelings, and I’ve always thought that Kameron thoughtless of [me], like I always have felt that from her. And it wasn’t the first time. She’s done it several times. I think I had a breaking point.”
Despite the challenges she faced in her childhood Brandi admits she wouldn’t change the way she grew up.
“I’m so glad that I was raised the way I was because I feel like it’s taught me a lot about definitely being humble,” she shared. “I just don’t want to pass judgment on anybody because you don’t know anybody’s circumstances or what they’re going through that day.”
Brandi went on to say she’s proud of her humble beginnings and how far she’s come in life.
“I’m so blessed, and I’m so proud of my parents. I mean, they were teenagers, and they beat the odds,” she said. “They’re still together. I think that they’re such a testimony for marriage and just relying on your faith because they’re living life now.”
Fans will get to see the rest of Kameron and Brandi’s fight playout during next week’s episode of RHOD when Brandi confronts Kam about her “trash” comment.
The Real Housewives of Dallas airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
