The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband’s request to be released on bond has been denied after a nearly two-week deliberation.
According to Radar Online, a judge “rendered a decision of no bond pertaining to Giuseppe Giudice’s case” on September 20th.
It seems that the judge agreed with the prosecutor of Joe’s case, who says that Joe’s previous convictions do not make him eligible for release on bond.
Joe “is a flight risk and a danger to society. He has numerous interactions with police. He has a family here and there is reason to believe that he won’t turn himself into ICE custody if he is ordered deported,” said the prosecutor at the September 11th bond hearing.
However, Joe’s attorney argued: “He just wants to be here with his wife, brother, and family. Law enforcement will be monitoring him, plus the media will be following his every move. So I disagree he is a risk flight.”
Joe does have the opportunity to appeal this ruling within the next 30 days but sources say it’s unlikely that he will do so.
Additional sources say that the Giudice family is “preparing for the worst” and that they “blame Teresa for everything.”
However, a source close to the Giudice family tells AllAboutTRH this is “not true at all.”
Only time will tell if Joe appeals this decision but either way, it could be months before the Third Circuit Court makes a decision on Joe’s deportation appeal.
Joe completed a three-year prison sentence in March 2019 and was immediately taken into ICE Custody. Since then, Joe has called ICE’s Clinton County Correctional Facility in McElhattan, Pennsylvania home.
