Kenya Moore, of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is splitting from her husband of two years, Marc Daly. According to People, the couple have confirmed their split. They married in June of 2017 and welcomed a daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly, in November of 2018. Kenya and Marc appeared on The Tamron Hall Show this week with their baby girl, and they all seemed very happy. They didn’t mention their split on the show. The couple have since released their statements and are asking for privacy during this sad time.
Kenya stated, “It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”
Marc said in the statement, “I have come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time. Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible. I cherish our family’s good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way. Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits. Please respect our privacy during this challenging period.”
On Monday, Kenya, Marc and baby Brooklyn were together in New York City for their first television appearance as a family on – The Tamron Hall Show. Marc made an appearance on the RHOA briefly back in season 10 before she left the show. Kenya is returning to the RHOA for season 12, and it’s currently being filmed now. It was reported that Kenya has a meltdown next season over the pressures of marriage and motherhood. Her husband runs a restaurant and lives in New York City. Kenya was, on the other hand, has been staying in Atlanta to film season 12 of RHOA.
On their appearance on Monday, Kenya called Marc, “the love of my life” and he discussed how he supported her through the IVF process. Marc said, “It’s incredibly challenging because the success rate for these, these treatments are very low. There’s expectations, but you also have to be prepared for disappointed. So just being there, being supportive, being hopeful, being positive and just being behind her was what it’s all about.”

It’s also been revealed by sources that Marc has an ex-wife and two additional children from his previous marriage that many people do not know about. According to People, one is an adult and one is a teenager. Marc has had practice being a father for a while now. Kenya shared, “He has been the best father. He changes her diaper. He even tried to dress her one day. He lays her on her stomach and they watch TV and just hang out together. He talks to her the whole time. He really has been the most incredible doting dad. It just makes me have more respect for him.”
Kenya had a difficult pregnancy and delivery room. Doctors had to cut her horizontally and vertically to avoid fibroids that could’ve potentially caused her to bleed out. Apparently the operation normally takes around 30 minutes, but for Kenya, it lasted over three hours. Kenya said it was “scary.”
She shared, “He was really strong and just amazing in the operation room. Marc was having a hard time in the waiting room because he’s one of those guys who can’t stand the sight of blood, so he didn’t want to see the baby come out because he just knew he would faint. But he stayed focused on me when we were in there. And he never warned me of anything like, ‘There’s so much blood.’ He never panicked. I couldn’t have done it without him.”
This is sad to hear. I’m wishing the best for all of them during this difficult time. I’m excited to see Kenya on the RHOA next season!
