Jacqueline Laurita The Real Housewives of New Jersey - RHONJ

RHONJ: Jacqueline Laurita And Daughter Ashlee Malleo Holmes Share A Touching Post As They Spend Time In The Family’s NJ Mansion For The Last Time!

Jacqueline Laurita left New Jersey this summer and moved to Las Vegas. Jacqueline and her husband, Chris Laurita, listed their home for sale months ago and have actively been trying to sell it for quite some time. Jacqueline announced in the spring, that they wanted to sell their home and move over the summer – and they did. Jacq has lived in Vegas in the past, and her parents live there, so it made sense for them. The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum was recently back in New Jersey and New York for business for 48 hours, so she stopped by her Franklin Lakes mansion to reminisce and reflect. The home is currently priced at $1.75 million dollars.

Jacqueline and her daughter, Ashlee Malleo Holmes, had an emotional visit to the family home. They shared a touching tribute about going back to the house. According to Bravo TV, Jacqueline shared, “So weird, guys, I’m here having a coffee at my old house here in Franklin Lakes, so crazy, seeing it all empty, no life here. It’s probably the last time I’ll be here because someone else will be livin’ here. Good memories.”

Ashlee was feeling emotional and sentimental during the visit to her childhood home, too. She posted a photograph of the family’s kitchen and wrote, “This morning I had the brilliant idea to go ‘home’ and take another look inside with my mom. It was a dumb idea, because we basically had to RE- say goodbye. Needless to say, we were both super emotional.”

My mom @jaclaurita was just in town for business for a brief 48 hours. This is the only picture I took lol Our old kitchen, frozen in time like we never left. Last night, Cameron and I slept over at my mom’s hotel with her. ( @marltonhotel is SO classic and gorgeous by the way! ) ANYWAY, this morning I had the brilliant idea to go “home” and take another look inside with my mom. It was a dumb idea, because we basically had to RE- say goodbye. Needless to say, we were both super emotional. This kitchen is probably the most important room in that house to me. It’s the one I will miss the most. Not my bedroom, this one. The most memories took place in that room. I even announced my pregnancy to my parents and brother in that room, and when we first brought Cameron home from the hospital we sat him on that kitchen island first. It’s seen many Holidays, and much MUCH laughter. It’s seen many lectures and life lessons. Friends of mine have been apart of life changing conversation and late night motivational talks in that kitchen. Late night snack raids. Even though I know that it’s time for the next chapter, I will miss this house for the rest of my life. ?

Jacqueline and Chris had bought the house back in 2002 and raised their family there for almost 17 years. Ashlee shared, “This kitchen is probably the most important room in that house to me. It’s the one I will miss the most. Not my bedroom, this one. The most memories took place in that room. I even announced my pregnancy to my parents and brother in that room, and when we first brought Cameron home from the hospital we sat him on that kitchen island first. It’s seen many holidays, and much, MUCH laughter. It’s seen many lectures and life lessons. Friends of mine have been a part of life-changing conversation and late-night motivational talks in that kitchen. Late night snack raids. Even though I know that it’s time for the next chapter, I will miss this house for the rest of my life.”

Aww, this is a very bittersweet situation. I feel for Jacqueline and Ashlee. Their home, and especially their kitchen, has been shown on the RHONJ so much. It’s still hard to believe that they won’t be living there anymore. I’m glad they got this special moment to go back to their house and have coffee in the kitchen. It’s sweet that they were able to think about the memories and reminisce!
