LVP recently celebrated her 59th birthday in style. Embarking on a new year of life has Lisa reflecting on all of the things that she has been through this past year and the last season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Although it’s been difficult, she’s anticipating that everything will improve. She took to her social media to share, “Thank you for your birthday wishes! It’s been a tough year, but next year will be better!”

Back in June, Lisa officially quit the RHOBH after 9 seasons. LVP was an OG of the RHOBH. She had told Us Weekly at the time, “I made the decision to leave. It was a very difficult year for me, personally and professionally. I had wonderful things happen this year, opening up and TomTom and the cocktail garden in Vegas. The Housewives, it’s just, it’s emotionally too difficult to deal with.”

LVP wasn’t getting along with many of her co-stars during the last season of the RHOBH. She skipped the cast trip to France after she was accused by her castmates that she was responsible for leaking a story about Dorit Kemsley taking her dog to a kill shelter. Dorit claims that she gave the puppy, Lucy Lucy Apple Juice, to a friend and that they were the ones who ended up bringing the dog to a shelter.

It was hard for LVP to film the RHOBH, after the loss of her brother. She explained, “This season of Housewives was not a pleasant situation at all in any shape or form. I want to thank the audience for supporting me because it’s one thing when you’ve got the whole cast against you, but at least when you’ve got the audiences’ support. You feel kind of bolstered by it, so I thank them for that, but I had a very, very, very tough time this year. I manage to try to pull myself together with grief counseling and antidepressants. I’ve never taken anything in my life, you know, I’ve never been to therapy in my life, but I think slowly I’m in a lot better place than I was.”

LVP also celebrated her birthday with a pretty party that included everything pink, ponies, and puppies.

I’m glad that LVP had a great birthday and I’m sending her lots of love and good vibes! I will miss her on the RHOBH, but I’m hoping she will return at a later date. In the meantime, I’ll keep watching her on Vanderpump Rules.
