Braunwyn Windham-Burke Emily Simpson Gina Kirschenheiter Kelly Dodd Shannon Beador Tamra Judge The Real Housewives of Orange County - RHOC Vicki Gunvalson

RHOC Recap: Dance Like No One Is Watching

Hey Loves! Are you ready to breakdown Tuesday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County?

If so, let’s go!

So, this week’s episode of RHOC started off with Emily Simpson prepping for her Las Vegas debut. Not surprisingly, the mom of three is super nervous about her performance.

One person who’s not so pumped is her hubby Shane but more on that later.

Meanwhile, Gina is meeting with her new lawyer, thanks to Shannon Beador who hooked them up. At the meeting, Gina learns that she will most likely lose her license for one year – which sucks for the newly single mom. Looks like Uber will be Gina’s next BFF for the next 365 days.

As Gina deals with some low points in her life, the exact opposite is happening for Kelly Dodd who’s promoting her latest investment – an electrolyte based sparkling water called Postive H20 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Kelly’s hoping this $250k investment will pay off BIG TIME so when she goes through her “lump sum” divorce settlement she has something to live off for the rest of her life.

She also mentions that her AMEX bill is $30K a month. #RICHPEOPLEPROBLEMS

While there Kelly runs into Tamra and Eddie Judge and they get to chatting about Emily’s big performance. Tamra tells her that she and Shannon weren’t invited and admits she’s kind of pissed off about it.

Flashforward to Vegas, Emily, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke arrive at Westgate along with Emily’s inlaws Pary and Larry. Yet Emily’s husband Shane is nowhere in sight. What a great way to celebrate Emily and Shane’s 10-year wedding anniversary! NOT!

Emily and Braunwyn are taken to their massive penthouse suite that looks like something out of a movie – and comes with a personal butler! Afterward, Emily heads to rehearsal and finds herself having some trouble remembering her steps and confidence. Braunwyn, on the other hand, is living it up Keven McCallister style (Home Alone 2 – the Plaza) in the penthouse – she’s prancing around in her bikini, taking photos, drinking and enjoying every minute of alone time.

Kelly then arrives and the ladies get ready for Emily’s debut. While waiting to go out Braunwyn and Kelly have a little chat. Kelly admits that in her 20’s she’s done drugs but insists she’s never used drugs since. She also makes it clear that she wants NOTHING to do with Vicki – ever again including the upcoming trip to Arizona.

It’s SHOWTIME! Emily hits the stage and flubs her moves more than once but she keeps going and finishes strong. Despite messing up a bit Braunwyn and Kelly praise Emily for having the guts to get up on stage. The group heads back the penthouse and Shane shocks everyone, especially Emily, by showing up with roses for his wife. Emily is elated that Shane made the effort to come to Vegas and surprise her.

However, Emily’s happiness is shortlived as Shane’s winning personality and sarcasm rears its ugly head again. When Emily tells Shane she’s happy he came because she was feeling very isolated, Shane brushes off her feelings pointing out that his parents and her friends were here. He then adds that Emily chose to come to Vegas without him.

Back in the OC, Gina, Tamra, and her mom Sandy head to get some “Orange County Crack” aka Botox. The ladies dish some dirt while getting their treatments and Gina reveals that Shannon is the one who’s constantly reaching out and checking on her while her BFF Emily is more focused on her Burlesque performance. She adds that Emily has been putting a ton of pressure on her go-to Vegas and that Emily called her from Vegas and tried to guilt her into coming.

The next day the ladies head off to Arizona and things start off a bit rocky. Upon landing, Shannon reveals that not all the ladies have their own rooms. So Gina decides to bunk with Shannon and Tamra to give Vicki her own room since she’s only coming on the trip for 24 hours.

When the ladies arrive at Miraval and things quickly go from bad to worse. Shannon is in natural and alternative healing heaven however the same can’t be said for Kelly. Almost immediately Kelly starts irritating Shannon by cracking jokes and not taking the experience serious.

As the group heads to the “Sound Bath,” Shannon encourages everyone to ring the giant gong but Kelly keeps making jokes which only causes more tension. According to Kelly, Shannon needs to get gonged (f*&%ed) a bit more and maybe she wouldn’t be so serious. The claws are out!

The ladies begin to clear their energy in the “Sound Bath” but once again Shannon is pissed off that Kelly isn’t digging deeper during the exercises.

Each of the ladies reveals what they want to let go of and what they want to bring into their lives. This is all very Secret like and I love it!

Emily wants to let go of anger, reacting quickly before thinking and wants more appreciation as a mom and wife. Gina wants to let Feeling bad about not having the life she thought she would Shannon, on the other hand, wants happiness and to let go of the bitness and resentment she feels for the difficulties she’s experienced especially when it comes to the end of her marriage

As for Tamra, she wants to let go of things she has no control over and chooses the lord to guide her. Braunwyn wants to let go of being so dependent on her husband and want to be the kind of person her kids can look up to.

Kelly wants to let go of her anger and wants her new beverage to sold in Costco, Walmart, and Target.

Not surprisingly, Kelly’s goal doesn’t sit well with Shannon, who believes Kelly is mocking the process by only focusing on materialistic pursuits.

Shannon then stands in a bowl and has another placed on her head for further clearing. Kelly thinks it would be a good idea to hit Shannon on the head with a hammer, which of course it’s not.

Immediately, Shannon says she has a headache from the hit. If things couldn’t get any worse, the power is out at the resort so the group is forced to eat by candlelight.

However, just when you think the drama has reached fever pitch, Tamra tells Shannon that her ex-husband got hit in the head once and his spinal fluid started to leak, which only freaks Shannon out even more. Shannon says her left eye is blurry and she has a bump on her head as starts crying and getting upset with Kelly for ruining things.

Tamra decides to take Shannon to see a doctor. On the way they call Vicki, who freaks out when she hears about what Kelly has done and says Kelly is “out of control.”

Meanwhile, Kelly, Emily, and Braunwyn gossip about Shannon and her new friendship with Gina. Kelly then has an ‘I told you so’ moment when Gina calls them and reveals that  Tamra took Shannon to Urgent Care.

At the Urgent Care, the nurse asks Shannon: “We just have to ask if you want us to call the police to press charges? Just ’cause it’s an assault, you know like…”

The episode ends on that cliffhanger and will continue next week.

The Real Housewives of Orange County air Tuesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.

Thoughts on this week’s episode of RHOC? Did Kelly go too far by hitting Shannon on the head? Do you think Shannon will press charges against Kelly?
