Brandi Redmond The Real Housewives of Dallas - RHOD

Brandi Redmond Pens Emotional Post After RHOD Fans Write “Hurtful and Judgmental” Comments About Her Daughter Brooklyn

Since the beginning of the Real Housewives of Dallas, Brandi Redmond has always been an open book. Over the years she’s let fans into her life and discussed everything from her marital woes to friendship drama to adopting her son and so much more.

So, it wasn’t surprising when Brandi opened up about her 10-year-old daughter Brooklyn this season.

As we’ve all seen on season 4, Brandi’s been struggling to handle Brooklyn’s new attitude which went from little girl to teenager practically overnight. Something I’m sure many moms can relate to.

And while it’s Brandi’s job to open her real life up to the cameras she never expected that RHOD fans would go after her little girl.

Now the RHOD star is fighting back and defending Brooklyn in an emotional post on Instagram.

“I have to share what I’m feeling to get this off my chest…This is my baby girl. She is kind, loving, sweet and one of the smartest kids I’ve ever known. She is the first in our family that wants to bring everyone together. She’s the best big sister to Bruin & Brinkley. As I’m writing this I’m in tears. You can say anything you want to about me but not children. Who knew so many people could be so hurtful and judgmental. I don’t always get the parenting thing right and children are not always perfect but my love for my children is undeniable. Those who truly know my family know Brooklyn. She’s a blessing. Thank you for watching and to those of you who can relate, sending. Those who’ve got this all figured out, where is your NY Times Best Seller? #?#redmondpartyof5  #rhod,” Brandi wrote.

Brandi’s Real Housewives family, including Andy Cohen, quickly rallied around her in support.

The Real Housewives of Dallas airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.

All I have to say is: CHILDREN ARE OFF LIMITS. Bash their parents or whatever you want but leave the kids ALONE.

Thoughts on Brandi’s post? Are fans crossing the line by going after children?
