Can you teach an OG Housewife new tricks? That is the question to be answered during this week’s episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
In a preview for this week’s episode of RHOC, Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador attempt to coach Vicki Gunvalson on how to smooth things out with Kelly Dodd.
Kelly and Vicki haven’t been in a good place ever since Vick accused Kelly of doing cocaine at the season 13 reunion. Ever since then Kelly has refused to be in the same place with the OG of the OC, which is creating quite the problem among the group as the ladies are supposed to head to Arizona for a healing retreat.
Vicki notoriously hates newbies on RHOC so it’s not surprising that she’s taking digs at Braunwyn.
“Someone said that her name is Boring-wyn,” Vicki says after Tamra asks her to repeat what she just said. This is when Tamra calls Vicki out; saying that her M.O. is to say something mean but blame it on someone else.
“Vicki can’t help herself,” Tamra reveals in her confessional, alongside a montage of Vicki’s greatest “I heard this thing…” moments. “Like, she loves to talk s**t, and then she’s like, what?! That’s what I heard. This behavior’s gotta stop!”
The conversation then shifts back to the recent sex train rumor/drama that was once again created by Vicki. The OG of OC was the first to hint about the Kelly sex train rumor when she told the group that she “knew something Kelly doesn’t want out there.”
While Vicki was the first one to bring up the rumor, it was Tamra and Shannon who accidentally spilled the details. The two insist they weren’t mic’d when telling Gina [Kirchenheiter] and Braunwyn about the “train” rumor in the car. Adding that they had no idea the car, they were in, still had mics that were recording.
“I want the low-blow nastiness to stop,” Shannon tells Vicki. “Part of that nastiness, Vicki, is putting seeds into the universe.”
“I think the thing that you can do moving forward is, if she throws a bomb or a nuke, whatever it is she throws, not to react,” Tamra advises. “Don’t do anything.”
“Well, there comes a point in time where she has to stop it,” Vicki points out. “You guys have to be defending me on that one, saying, Kelly, stop it.”
“If there’s nastiness coming from any side, you’re gonna hear me say something,” Shannon says while also warning Vicki not to be vicious as well.
“Hopefully it’ll be a crossover point because I have no desire to hurt Kelly Dodd,” Vicki reveals.
As we all already know there’s not “crossover point” during season 14 as the RHOC cast remains divided into two teams – The Tres Amigas (Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson) vs. Team Kelly (Kelly Dodd, Emily and Gina Kirschenheiter).
