The Real Housewives of New York OG may be “refusing to film” after Bethenny Frankel’s exit but it’s just a tactic to get what she thinks she deserves salary-wise.
“Ramona would never walk away from RHONY as she absolutely loves doing the show. It’s opened so many doors for her. She honestly feels right now she‘s living her best life,” a source close tells HollywoodLife.
“Ramona has been holding out for her contract because she feels there’s extra money with Bethenny gone and she wants the right compensation,” the source explains.
As we previously reported, Ramona was “unhappy with her initial offers” and was “holding her ground,” for more money now that Bethenny and her reported $1.5M salary are gone.
While Ramona is holding out for more money “she knows she’s not going to walk,” the source adds. “She feels she really helps make the show and couldn’t care less what the other ladies think.”
“Everyone knows she‘s coming back,” the source admits.
However, another part of Ramona’s hold out seems to be about casting for season 12. Apparently Ramona wants whoever replaces Bethenny to be a familiar face.
“Ramona would love to have Jill Zarin return,” reveals the source.
“It’s looking like Jill will film here and there, but nothing full-time,” adds the insider. “Ramona continues to make a push for Jill to return full-time. She‘d be thrilled to have her back.”
Thoughts on this report? Does Ramona deserve more money for season 12 of RHONY?
