Gretchen Rossi and her fiancé Slade Smiley may lose their home as the former Real Housewives of Orange County star is allegedly $26,000 behind in payments.
The Blast reports that Gretchen’s 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom 2,306 sq. ft. Costa Mesa condo will go up for public auction on August 26.
The auction will take place at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim in Orange County. Anyone and everyone can attend the auction and bid on Gretchen’s home.
According to records, the unpaid balance on Gretchen’s property is $431,529.79
This shocking news comes just weeks after Gretchen and Slade welcomed their first child together – a baby girl named Skylar Gray.
“God is Great!! Skylar Gray Smiley arrived safely into this world today! Most amazing & emotional day of my life! I am doing good as well…of course, I have some pain from the c-section, but it was all so worth it! …Details and pics coming soon! But for now, just focusing on Sky and taking good care of her. Thank you all for your prayers and love today!” Gretchen shared on Instagram.
Back in April, Gretchen was notified by Quality Loan Service Corp. that her home was in default on her mortgage.
The mortgage company let the former reality star know that if she didn’t pay up they would foreclose on her home and auction it off.
At the time, Gretchen was $25,894.91 behind on her mortgage and gave her 90 days to settle her debt.
The Real Housewives of Orange County returns to Bravo on August 6th.
