Kim Zolciak- Biermann and her family insist they were booted off a Delta flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta because the youngest Biermann kids were crying.
The Don’t Be Tardy star’s oldest daughter Brielle Biermann wrote on Twitter that a Delta employee removed her family from their flight because her younger siblings started to cry while waiting for their dad, Kroy Biermann, and the family’s “service dog” to board the flight.
“[An employee] at gate 27 delta LAX just kicked my WHOLE FAMILY OFF the flight to ATL bc we were waiting on my dad with our service dog to finish going thru security & kJ & Kash started crying bc they thought we left him and Kaia was literally S–TTING AND HE KICKED US OFF!!!! WTF,” Brielle wrote in a now-deleted tweet.
“He was grabbing my siblings and escorting them off HIMSELF while my moms in the bathroom with Kaia!!!!!!” she continued. “I have never dealt with anything like this in my life.”
Kim then chimed in adding, “Unacceptable @Delta but police are now involved.”
However, airport police seem to be telling a different story.
In a statement to Page Six, the airport police say they were called to the gate to resolve a “business dispute” but that the issue was worked out by the time they arrived.
“Upon arrival and investigation officers found the incident to be a business dispute, which was being worked out by the parties involved,” Sgt. Alicia Hernandez said in a statement. “Officers determined no crimes had been committed and cleared the scene with no further action.”
“Mrs. Zolciak Biermann and family elected to deplane their flight after her husband remained behind to provide proper paperwork for an emotional support animal,” a rep for Delta claimed in a statement.
Sources say that Kroy arrived at the gate after the plane door was shut and because of this, the rest Biermann’s then deplaned from the aircraft. While Delta offered to work with the family to reschedule their flights they ultimately found their own transportation back to Atlanta.
While the Biermann’s hoped to garner sympathy from their tweets they in fact did the exact opposite. Instead, the Biermann’s were hit with criticism that they lied about owning a service dog.
“I wonder if the police can investigate fake services animals,” tweeted one follower.
“Except you don’t have a service dog sooooooooo …………,” wrote another.
A third added, “Your dog has bit a child. I love that you are so open to rehabbing him but you are abusing the service dog rule and are part of the problem. Period.”
Meanwhile, after her family’s airport drama, Brielle drowned her sorrows by indulging in $100 worth of chicken tenders.
Brielle stayed in L.A. and met up with Sylvester Stallone’s daughters Sistine and Scarlet Stallone at hotspot Delilah.
“When u spend $100 on some chicken tenders … ” Brielle wrote alongside a since-deleted Instagram story of their food which included a side of fries.
According to Page Six, Delilah’s chicken tender appetizer costs $25 while a side of fries costs $12.
The Biermann’s are currently filming season 8 of their show Don’t Be Tardy, which will return to Bravo in late 2019 or early 2020.
Thoughts on Kim’s claims? Do you believe the family was kicked off their flight? Sound off.
