Gina Kirschenheiter The Real Housewives of Orange County - RHOC

Gina Kirschenheiter Reportedly ‘Freaking Out’ about Money after Ex Husband Matt Loses his Job!

When Gina Kirschenheiter joined RHOC she probably dreamed of making headlines – just not for these reasons!

Gina and her ex husband Matt can’t seem to stay out of the tabloids these past few weeks as it has been revealed that Gina was a no show for their court date regarding domestic abuse, even after the horrific details of the abuse were outlined in court documents. As this is a very serious matter, Matt’s employer PIMKO recently let him go of his high paying corporate job, which has left Gina terrified on how they will provide for their family.

According to sources Gina is “freaking out over finances” as her salary from RHOC isn’t enough to provide for herself and her three children in one of the most expensive zip codes in the country. Sources say that Gina may be forced to move back to New York to get some family help as she “doesn’t have any other source of income and it is really expensive to live in Orange County, especially for a single mother.”

The source states that Matt losing his job has everything to do with the domestic abuse issues being made public and that it’s now Gina who gets the short end of the stick as Matt continued to support her and their three children with his income from PIMKO: “This is not what Gina was hoping for when she got the restraining order and it is the last thing that she wants.”

In addition, sources say that Gina doesn’t want Matt’s domestic abuse charges to go any further, but she may not have a say in it at this point:

“She feels that Matt has already gotten what he deserves from this, which is his entire life destroyed. She doesn’t want to hurt her children anymore than they’re already hurt and she wants to put this behind her.”  However, according to a criminal expert, at this point in the case it may not be up to Gina to decide:

“It’s an uncomfortable situation, obviously, when the victim is not going to be particularly cooperative, but it almost doesn’t matter because California has very liberal evidence rules. They are going to be able to use her initial complaint as evidence against him, even if she takes the stand and says, ‘No, it didn’t happen.’”

Wow. This is very ugly; however I had a feeling that Gina was holding back as her story with Matt never made sense. At this point I think it would be best for her and her children to move back to New York to get family support and figure out their next steps.
