Anthony Scaramucci’s wife, Deidre Ball, is in the running to join the Real Housewives of New York, Page Six reports.
“Scaramucci’s wife is doing the ‘Housewives.’ They’ve been wanting new blood and have been striking out with new cast members. She’s been meeting with Bravo,” reveals a source.
While another insider added of Deidre: “It’s reality-TV gold. I’d love to have her on.”
Scaramucci, who is best known as President Trump’s short-lived White House Communications Director and his wife are ready for the spotlight of reality TV.
Deidre, infamously, filed for divorce from Anthony in 2017 when she was 9 months pregnant. Eventually, Deidre stood by her man and two remained married.
Scaramucci, better known as the Mooch, dabbled in reality TV this year when he appeared on CBS’ Celebrity Big Brother.
Sources say that Deidre has Anthony’s full support if she makes the cut to join RHONY.
Bravo’s decision to hire Deidre stems from a larger shakeup on RHONY that involves Tinsley Mortimer being fired and Luann de Lesseps requesting an outrageous raise.
Tinsley, who joined RHONY in 2016, hasn’t made much of an impact during her time as a Housewife.
“No one knows her and it’s like starting all over every season .?.?. How many seasons can they sit around talking about her dating or not dating [sometimes-boyfriend] Scott [Kluth]?”
Newbie Barbara Kavovit is rumored to be also getting the boot after only one season.
“She’s out. She didn’t become a part of the ensemble,” the insider said.
As for OG de Lesseps, the first source said, “She wants to double her salary, but .?.?. her storyline is getting old.”
Adding, “she does think she’s more. She has that cabaret [act].”
The Real Housewives of New York airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
