Andy Cohen Lisa Vanderpump The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - RHOBH

Andy Cohen Says ‘No One Will Ever Replace’ Lisa Vanderpump on RHOBH; She’s ‘Iconic’

Andy Cohen is getting very REAL about Lisa Vanderpump‘s exit from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“I wish she had been there. What can I tell you? I really wish she would have been there and I think she would have done great,” Andy said during the Monday, June 10th episode of his SiriusXM radio show about Vanderpump’s decision to skip the season 9 reunion. “And I think she actually could have left with some resolution.”

After the reunion was filmed, Vanderpump confirmed to various media sources that she was officially done with theReal Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“No one will ever replace her,” Cohen said firmly. “And no one can replace her. I mean, it has been well documented that when we were developing the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I was not totally sold on doing the show … But when I saw Lisa Vanderpump on that casting tape, man, she was the one who really sold me on doing the show.”

Andy continued, “She is iconic. And I am so glad that we will continue to see more of Lisa — in all of her glory — on Vanderpump Rules … she will always be the queen of diamonds in the Bravo universe.”

Despite Andy’s kind words about LVP, he also made it clear that  “people come and go but the show remains” and said that someone else will come in and wow viewers.

However, he did add: “The door will always be open to Lisa.”

Meanwhile, Andy also touched upon rumors that Kathy Hilton would be joining RHOBH to replace LVP.

“Kathy was like, ‘Oh, we gotta take a pic,’” Andy said of running into Kyle Richards’ oldest sister at a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Cohen’s good friend Bruce Bozzi then posted the photo to Instagram and hinted about Kathy joining RHOBH.

“Before we are out the door, I get in the car and look on Instagram, and there’s Bruce’s post that says, ‘Sign on the dotted line,’” Cohen explained. “I will say I was amazed at how overwhelmingly positive people’s reaction to this was.”

“There have been absolutely no conversations about this,” Cohen concluded.

As for Kathy, she joked about the rumor in a post on Instagram; saying that joining RHOBH would interfere with her job cutting hair.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
