Joe Giudice currently awaits his fate up as he sits in an ICE detention center. Depending on the verdict from his deportation appeal, Joe will either be deported to Italy or be able to remain in the United States with his wife and daughters.
With Joe’s fate up in the air his wife, Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice faces an “impossible” decision – stay in the US or follow him to Italy.
“If she follows Joe to Italy, she’s stuck with the man who she feels is the reason why she went to prison and ruined her life. If she stays here and builds a new life for herself without him, she’s tearing her daughters [Gia, 18, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 13, and Audrianna, 9] away from their father. It’s a no-win situation for her.” a source tells In Touch.
According to many insiders, Joe’s chances of staying the United States are slim. However, Joe recently gained support from 27 former immigration judges, who have filed motions in support of Joe not being deported.
On May 22, Joe also received more good news. Joe “was granted a stay of removal by the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit,” which means that Joe is allowed to remain in the US while the court decides if he will be deported or not.
Despite all this happy news, the entire ordeal is weighing heavily on the Real Housewives of New Jersey star.
“She doesn’t sleep well,” reveals the source. “She had dreams that she’s back in prison. She lives in fear, always waiting for the other shoe to drop.”
During part 3 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey season, 9 reunion Teresa revealed that she and her husband will go their “separate ways” if he is deported from the United States.
Teresa explained: “I mean, unless my kids say, ‘Mommy, I want to move to Italy. Gia’s going to college next year; I haven’t spoken to Milania or Audriana about it, we haven’t gotten there yet; Gabriella already voiced her opinion to me. She was like, ‘That would be so hard for me, Mommy.’ She doesn’t speak the language. She’s like, ‘That would kill me even more.’”
Adding that her four daughters have “been through so much already.”
“I’m not doing a long-distance relationship. I’m not doing it. You know, I want somebody with me every day. I know exactly what happens. You know, I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens. We do the long-distance thing, it’s not going to work. I’d be like, ‘Bye, bye,’” Teresa revealed.
