One of the basic requirements for being on reality TV is opening up your entire life, including your romantic relationships, to the cameras.
Since the start of Vanderpump Rules, the cast has let it all hang out when it comes to the ups and downs in their dating lives that is except for Lala Kent.
Lala has been notoriously private when it comes to her relationship with now fiance Randall Emmett. At the start of their relationship, Lala wouldn’t even mention Randall by name which resulted in a ton of rumors about their romance.
Nowadays Lala openly talks about Rand but he’s never actually been seen on Vanderpump Rules, which is odd since he hangs out with the Pump Rules crew fairly often as seen on social media.
And it turns out this isn’t sitting well with Lala’s Pump Rules co-stars who think it’s “unfair” that she doesn’t share her relationship with Randall on the show.
The Vanderpump Rules cast called Lala out at the season 7 reunion for not showing all of her life on camera.
“Lala got called out on the VPR reunion because the whole cast doesn’t think it’s fair she’s allowed to pick pieces of her life to show. Randall has made it very clear he doesn’t want to be on the show, and even though he makes appearances on other reality shows and projects, he wants nothing to do with the VPR show itself,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com.
“Number one, I don’t want him to be on it. The things that go on on the show, it does get very real and nitty-gritty,” Lala told Andy, who could clearly sense the tension in the room. He followed up by asking, “I’m sitting here looking around and thinking about everyone putting their relationships out there. Do you think that’s fair to the others that you’re on the show and you don’t show everything?”
“I think I show quite a bit,” she replied before Tom Sandoval jumped in, “You get a little extra that you get to keep tucked away versus us.”
Lala tried to say that Randall was much more important than everyone else’s partner on the show, saying “Maybe if they had something really huge that they wanted to protect then maybe you wouldn’t have to worry about bringing them on the show.”
This didn’t sit well with co-star Stassi Schroeder, who shot back “That’s kind of rude. My boyfriend is just as important as your fiance.”
Lala’s comeback? “There are a lot of men who don’t want to be on the show and Randall is one of them.”
Should Lala share her relationship with Randall on Pump Rules? Is it unfair that Lala keeps part of her life private? Sound off below!
