Gretchen Rossi had an “over the top” baby shower over the weekend and she is feeling the love! The Real Housewives of Orange County alum was showered with love at her beautiful baby shower for her daughter she is naming, Skylar Gray. The celebration was attended by former RHOC co-stars, including Lizze Rovsek. Gretchen is expecting her first child with Slade Smiley this July. The baby shower was full of floral arrangements, treats to eat, and pops of the color pink!
Gretchen’s baby shower was attended by The Real Housewives of Dallas star D’Andra Simmons, Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay, Phaedra Parks alum of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Patti Stanger who is The Millionaire Matchmaker, plus Gretchen’s former RHOC co-stars Lizzie Rovsek and Peggy Tanous.

According to People, Gretchen’s white lace gown was designed by Project Runway designer, Michael Costello. Gretchen said in her speech, “I have to say thank you to each and every one of you for being here today. You guys know how long this journey has been for Slade and I. We have been together now for 10 years. We have been trying for a baby for the last four and half years and, oh my gosh, this is such a blessing from the good Lord above.”
Gretchen and Slade had gone through many rounds of IVF. Gretchen thanked the “amazing people” at Southern California Reproductive Center, who guided her through the process. Gretchen joked, “It literally took five men to get me pregnant. They truly have become family there. They helped make our wish of Skylar Gray come true.”
The baby shower was in Laguna Beach, California and it featured a custom flower wall by Mahi Khoshbin Renan and Orange County-based Glamour Flower Boutique. There was an extravagant sculpture of Gretchen and Slade holding a baby, with the name Skylar underneath it when guests walked in. Peggy said, “This is over-the-top. This is beautiful. Look at all the flowers … and the detail … I feel like I’m at a wedding. Lots of love for this little girl.”
Although a wedding may happen down the road for them, Gretchen teased, “We’re not getting married, I hate to burst your bubble. Yes, my dress is white. And we thought about it for a very small second and then I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be fun to have another big party?'”
Even though it wasn’t a wedding, Gretchen and Slade shared a first dance. They had a slow dance to “I Get To Love You” by Ruelle.

Congrats, Gretchen! Wow, the baby shower looks stunning! So beautiful. I’m happy for Gretchen! She’s been trying to have a baby for a long time and I’m glad it’s finally happening. Babies are such blessings.
