REPORT: White House Isn’t Considering Joe Giudice’s Pardon Request

As Joe Giudice awaits his fate in an ICE detention center his family is publicly pleading for President Donald Trump to pardon Giudice and stop his deportation to Italy.

The President has yet to publicly address the request, however, according to a source close to the administration the request is not on their radar.

“This has not reached the White House,” a source tells PEOPLE. Noting that “publicity alone does not carry a pardon request to Trump’s desk.”

The source explains: “If it was worth it on the merits, this would be something, but just because [the Giudice family] is asking … “

“Thousands of people have through different means tried to bring different cases” to the White House, explains the source, pointing out, “The vast majority of them just don’t warrant the decision.”

Back in October 2018, Judge Ellington ruled that Joe would be deported following the completion of his prison term. Then in early November 2018, Joe filed a last-minute appeal to fight the deportation order that would send him back to Italy after completing his prison sentence.

However, Joe’s deportation appeal was denied by the Board of Immigration Appeals on April 6th leaving his fate up in the air.

Now, Joe’s legal team has filed “a stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals to keep Joe in the country.”

In the meantime, Teresa and her girls are doing everything they can to #BringJoeHome. Last week, Gia Giudice created a petition to keep Joe in the United States, asking supporters to, “Please use your voice, your power, and your signature to help keep my family together.”

“My father is not a danger to society,” Gia explained. “He knows nothing of Italian culture, laws, societal norms, he has no immediate family and will not be able to secure work in this foreign land.”

As for Teresa and Joe, they will split if Joe is deported. During part 3 of the RHONJ reunion, Teresa revealed that she will not do a long distance marriage with Joe.

Are you surprised Joe’s pardon request isn’t on President Trump’s radar? Do you think Joe will win his appeal and be able to remain in the USA?
