Radar Online reports that the former Real Housewives of Orange County couple appeared in court on April 24 and announced to the judge that had come to a financial agreement after three days of intense negotiations.
Earlier in the week, after spending three days in court, Shannon and David told Orange County Superior Court Judge James L.Waltz that “they had reached an impasse.”
But after another round of negotiations, they were able to come to an agreement.
The couple announced to the judge that they had reached a “private settlement” when the judge asked Shannon if this was true, she replied, “Yes, your honor.”
The judge also asked Shannon is she was satisfied with the results of the agreement which she again replied, “Yes, your honor.”
David was then asked the same questions and he replied: “Yes, your honor.”
The details of David and Shannon’s “private settlement” were not revealed by the judge but he told the former couple, “I wish you all peace of mind you have all wanted because you have settled your case.”
However, the judge wasn’t done there and imparted some words of wisdom on Shannon and David: “I urge you both, for the sake of your children and your careers, not live in the past, but to move forward in life.”
Previously, Shannon and David were at odds over their finances and the $22,500 a month David was ordered to pay Shannon in support.
Stay tuned for more details!
I’m glad these two finally came to an agreement. It will be healthy for them to both put this behind them.
