Dorinda Medley, star of The Real Housewives of New York City, joined Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live to dish on everything happening on the RHONYC and all that is going on in The Big Apple!
For starters, Dorinda explained that she really went out of her way to make sure that friend and co-star, Luann de Lesseps, felt comfortable in her home in the Berkshires. Dorinda wanted to address the state of her friendship with Lu.
Dorinda explained, “Well you know what I decided, I mean, my mantra was: take the high road, there’s less traffic up there. Take the high road. Because my goal was to get her, I didn’t want her to be able to distract what I was trying to do. The point was trying to finally talk with her and ask her, ‘Do you want to be friends or not?’ I mean, I’m not continuing this. I knew that she would use any point to, you know, make an excuse not go there.” She added, “Because Luann doesn’t always like to confront things.”
Does Dorinda feel somewhat vindicated after last season after seeing how Luann takes Bethenny Frankel for granted after she helped her? Dorinda answered right away, “Absolutely!”
Dorinda added, “Absolutely, because you gotta remember this is the first time there was Barbara, then there’s me, then there’s Bethenny. And you know what, as Dr. Phil says – past behavior represents future behavior.”
