John Sessa is making it known that he doesn’t regret his role in PuppyGate at all.
In a new interview with Page Six, Sessa explains that he feels comfortable with the role he played in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drama.
“Honestly, at the end of the day I stand up for the foundation and I stand up for the dog and at the end of the day, it’s the health of the dog that matters,” the Vanderpump Dogs co-founder explains.
The doggy drama on RHOBH started when Sessa and John Blizzard paraded Lucy Lucy Apple Juice out, in Vanderpump Dogs, while Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp were visiting Lisa Vanderpump. Sessa then told the group that this was Dorit Kemsley‘s dog, however, Vanderpump shut him down before he could finish his gossip session/set-up.
It was later revealed that Dorit gave Lucy to a friend after Lucy bit her children and husband multiple times. The friend then dropped the dog off at a shelter without Dorit’s knowledge.
Since then Teddi has accused Vanderpump of instructing Blizzard and Sessa to make Dorit look bad. Teddi has provided texts suggesting just that between herself and Blizzard.
However, Sessa says fans shouldn’t expect to see texts between him and Teddi Mellencamp come up.
“I don’t think I’ve ever even had Teddi’s number so Teddi and I have never really talked,” he said.
As for Lucy Lucy Apple Juice Sessa says she in a safe place after being returned to Vanderpump Dogs from a shelter in Orange County.
“She’s very very safe,” Sessa explained. “And she is with someone that’s very close with the Vanderpump Dogs family. So people very close watchful eye out on her and she’s very happy.”
